Captain Justin Harriman has spent over three decades navigating the intricate coastal waterways of Georgia. What began as a lifelong passion for recreational fishing has evolved into a professional calling, driven by a genuine desire to share the local maritime heritage with others. His deep-rooted connection to these salt marshes and sounds allows him to provide guests with more than just a day on the water; he offers an authentic look at the region’s natural beauty through the eyes of a lifelong resident.
Specializing in light tackle techniques, Captain Justin focuses on precision and finesse when targeting Georgia’s premier inshore species. His expertise is particularly sharp when it comes to the seasonal movements of redfish, speckled trout, and flounder. Whether he is poling through shallow flats or positioning the boat along oyster bars, his approach is grounded in a technical understanding of tidal flows and habitat, ensuring that every guest benefits from his years of observation and refined skill.
Beyond the technical side of the sport, Captain Justin is known for his patient and educational approach. He is equally comfortable guiding seasoned anglers through challenging conditions as he is teaching beginners the fundamentals of bottom fishing for whiting, sharks, or heavy-hitting bull redfish. His goal is to foster a sense of confidence in his guests, providing a relaxed environment where people can appreciate the art of the catch while gaining a deeper respect for the Georgia coast’s abundant aquatic ecosystems.
